SCPSB attended the Canada-Si Chuan Gas&Oil Enterprises Exchange

On March 23rd and 24th, SCPSB General Manager Liu Wei and Deputy General Manager Zhang Xiang attended the exchange conference which was jointly held by Sichuan Economic and Information Commission, Canadian Consulate in Chongqing, Government of Alberta and Government of Ontario.

At the exchange on March 23th, the representatives of the Canadian Government introduced the investment environment, the status of development in petroleum industry and chances in cooperation between the two countries’ companies of both Ontario and Alberta. On behalf of SCPSB, Assistant General Manager Liu Jian gave a speech on our businesses in building a professional platform for petroleum excavation in South China Sea and the plans for our new oil and gas supplies base in Chengdu. After the formal reports of the companies, leaders of SCPSB communicated with the representatives of the Canadian government and enterprises, including Calfrac Well Services, U-Target Energy Ltd. and MWDPlanet and Lumen Corporation, talking about the future cooperation. Governors of Alberta and Ontario highly approved the achievements of SCPSB in petroleum supplies and mentioned that they would recommend us the potential cooperators in the future. Besides, some participating Canadian companies showed great interests in entering in our Chengdu Chiwan petroleum supplies base.

On March 24th, leaders of SCPSB and representatives of Canadian government and petroleum companies got to know the future city planning of Xindu district in Chengdu by visiting the city planning museum. Afterwards, the delegation visited the targeted site of the Chengdu Chiwan International Oil and Gas Base and General Manager Liu Wei introduced the detailed planning of the base at the same time. Through this visit, the delegation all expressed their confidence in both Xindu and our base and that they would keep close attention to our project. This exchange came to a successful ending by a harmonious forum.
